Phoebe Santalla (she/her)
Phoebe is a St. Louis based illustrator and comic artist with her head half in the clouds.
Between the drawings of robots and roller skaters, you’ll find her exploring themes of gender, identity, and queerness in her art.
She’s a gay trans woman, and she’s going to tell you about it.
Her primary mediums are digital, pencil, and ink.
She focuses on making short comics and zines as a form of visible introspection that connects the “every day” to the fantastical.
She has a passion for creating possibility models through illustration and storytelling for queer and gender-expansive people to see themselves in.
She also apparently has a passion for thinking about herself and her place in the world, because her brain never stops trying to figure that one out.
